This 3-star property has been carefully preserved and sensitively restored. Today, the Arrow Mill Hotel offers excellent food and charming accommodation in a historic building rich in beautiful original features, such as ancient wooden beams. The hotel is directly opposite Ragley Hall country estate and conveniently located within easy reach of junction 15 of the M40 motorway. Stratford-upon-Avon is nearby and attractive Georgian Warwick is also within easy reach.
The Arrow Mill was originally a working mill and is mentioned in the Domesday Book, when it was valued at 3 shillings and 6 pence (17.5p). Flour was made here until the late 1800s and then animal feeds were milled on the site right up until 1964. There were working mills almost every mile along the River Arrow many years ago, but most have become houses, housing estates or sadly, just simply vanished.
